A Chance to Climb the Tower of Spite - Wainhouse Tower

Wainhouse Tower is a 253 foot tall Victorian observatory-chimney located in Halifax, West Yorkshire, offering panoramic views of the local area. Loved by residents, the circumstances of its construction lead some to refer to it as the Tower of Spite.

Freemasons have been meeting in Eastwood since the 1850's following the opening of the Station Hotel built to service both the growing local community and travellers. Following the hotel's closure in 1960's it was converted in to a Masonic Hall.
