Hinton Watermill
The last remaining watermill on the river yeo in Somerset, built in 1800 by William Smith Geologist and Canal builder, unique in having 450 m of tunnels supplying the water. Originally built with a water wheel but now has a Victorian turbine 1893.

A masterpiece of Elizabethan Renaissance architecture and design, with towering walls of glass, glowing ham stone and surrounding garden. While the upper floors of the house will remain closed for 2025 there is plenty to see on the ground floor, and
