78 Derngate - The Charles Rennie Mackintosh House
An ordinary terraced house, transformed by the Glaswegian architect, artist and designer, Charles Rennie Mackintosh, for patron WJ Bassett-Lowke, a local businessman and model engineer. The only house in England with Mackintosh interiors.
Ancient Hillfort within Hunsbury Hill Country Park
Hunsbury Hill Country Park houses a 2,500 year-old Iron-age Hillfort. It also contains Northamptonshire Ironstone Railway Trust, which will be open on Sunday 20th September.
