St Martin's - the parish church of Ashton-upon-Mersey
A Grade II* listed building dating from 1714. It features a double hammer beam roof. A tower was added in 1887 in commemoration of Queen Victoria's Golden Jubilee.

Come and have a look inside our beautiful neo-gothic hall. Built by John Rylands in 1879 for the people of Stretford. The building was awarded to the Friends group following a passionate campaign to keep the building public.
