Visit St Botolph Church, Shepshed. See the impressive Phillips family memorials. There will be information about Garendon Park on display. Enjoy light refreshments.

Garendon is a Registered Historic Park which, at one time, straddled what is now the M1. Information will be shared about the Park’s history including the 12th Century Monastery, Palladian Hall, Parkland, 18th Century Follies and Wartime use.

Explore Loughborough Central on the 19th and 20th September. Station is open to visitors between 0900 and 16:00 Guided Tours at 13:10 - Tour Tickets are limited and can be obtained on the day from the Station Masters office at Loughborough Central.

The 1852 Building will be open including the tower, which is accessed by 59 steps up a spiral staircase, giving a great view of Loughborough and surrounding districts. Items from the School's archives will be available to view in adjacent rooms

Historical documents will be available tracing Unity House's history from its inception as a medical aid centre in 1889, its use as a British restaurant in the war, and its current use after being purchased by Mont Follick MP in 1945.

Loughborough Carillon and War Memorial Museum as undergone a complete make over. The newly refurbished as the theme, 'The Human Cost' and tells the stories of the men who lost their lives in the Great War and the widow left grieving.

Visit Loughborough's only Grade 1 listed building and learn more about the history of the church building and it's significance to Loughborough over many centuries, with the earliest parts of the building going back to the 12th century.
