The Royal Engineers Museum will be free to enter from 1.30pm-5.00pm, with the band of Gordons School playing at 2.00pm.

Free creative workshop for all ages to explore the diverse cultural histories of Medway.
Boundary House Gallery and Boardroom
Boundary House at 375 Rochester High Street is the former home of Featherstones Department Store. Before Featherstones, the site was an Elizabethan Manor built by Sir John Hawkins. The foyer gallery will be open as will the painted (1720s) boardroom.
Brook Theatre Restoration Project
Find out about the ambitious restoration of the Brook Theatre formerly Chatham Town Hall built in 1899. Daily posts will share the buildings history and architectural highlights and the explore the challenges of this multi-million pound project.
Hoo St Werburgh church history open day
11th century church with displays of it's historic features and archive materials. Open for self-guided tours and refreshments with cream teas available in the afternoon.
Manor Farm Barn, Parsonage Lane, Frindsbury
One of the Great Barns of England; built by the monks of St Andrews monastery in Rochester around 1403, it is one of the longest medieval wooden structures in the country, and an inspiring example of the craftsmanship of the age.

St John’s Chatham has been undergoing significant works in the last couple of years. Come and see this amazing and newly refurbished Waterloo Church in the heart of historic Chatham.
St Margaret's Church, High Halstow
Everyone is welcome to view our ancient church. High Halstow is Saxon and means Holy Place. Our church may have been built on an earlier Pagan site. Our Earliest Church record is a purchase of sacramental Oils in 1080-6.

The French Hospital
The French Hospital charity established in 1718 will be open to the public on Saturday 13th September from 11am - 4pm. There will be bookable talks about the Huguenots and a chance to see the buildings and gardens and refreshments.
The Hospital of Sir John Hawkins, Knight in Chatham
Built on the site of Kettle Hard, a part of Bishop Gundulph's Hospital of St Bartholomew, the almshouses today are a square of Georgian houses dating from the 1790s they replaced Hawkins ' Tudor period buildings.
The Six Poor Travellers' House
In the 16th Century poor travellers were provided with one night’s lodging in the six bedrooms at the rear of this property. Visitors can see three of the travellers’ rooms furnished as they would have been, ready for travellers to arrive.

Watts Almshouses
Discover Richard Watts and the fascinating history of his Charity established since 1579. A guided tour and exhibition will provide a glimpse into the lives of the people who lived & worked here; an almshouse will be open for viewing where possible.
