Bishop Bonner's Cottage Museum
A little gem of a museum housed in Dereham's oldest domestic building, a row of three thatched cottages that survived town fires in 1581 and 1679, and a Zeppelin raid in 1915.
Brisley Church - Rural Life Through Generations in One Village
Displays of life in Brisley through time. Biographies of local families, including background stories about the men who served in WWI, school records, local farming stories and photographs of the changes in houses through recent times.
Broken Journeys
Visit County School Station - the only one on the MNR that was built in the distinctive Great Eastern Railway architectural style. Explore the station, discover the history of the Watts Naval School, and see a miniature railway in action.
Dereham Assembly Rooms
Dereham Assembly Rooms were built in 1756 and reflected the town's growing affluence in Georgian times.
Dereham Windmill
Dereham Windmill is a Grade II listed windmill set in extensive grounds with a picnic area. On each of the five floors, there are illustrated explanations of what happened in each area, when the mill was full of noise and floor dust.

Narborough Bone Mill
See our 16 foot waterwheel turning, original brick floors & remains of Victorian mill buildings, model of mill, finds uncovered during excavations in our visitor centre which is a mini replica of the original building. Have a guided tour of the site.
