A little bit of Bournville in the centre of Rugby. In 1909 a dual purpose adult school and meeting house was built for Rugby Quakers in what was then Moat Street. Designed and built by Bedford Tyler the architect of the Bournville Estate.

At this quirky art centre in Rugby town, textile artist and tudor re-enactor Tamsen Flack, is joined by friends in tudor dress. They will prepare Tudor food and (Friday), demonstrate textile crafts (Saturday), entertain with tudor music (Sunday).

Fibre artists (spinners, weavers, knitters and crocheters) will combine forces across four days to transform woollen fleeces into fabrics, starting with sheep and ending in wearable shawl(s). From preparation to finishing will be demonstrated.
