The museum, a.k.a. Mrs. Cummings's Cottage, is an Estate worker's house restored, furnished and equipped as if it were 1910. Mrs. Cummings was a seamstress who worked at Petworth House and at home. Nostalgic and educational.

Arundel Museum is open for FREE this Heritage Open Day on Saturday 14 September In the purpose-built Museum, enjoy seeing displays charting the history of Arundel. There are great activities for children too!

Come and join the volunteers at Shoreham Fort, a hidden gem in Adur, for a tour of the site which will reiterate that this Scheduled Monument is more than just a pile of bricks - there is a story to be told and we're willing to tell it...

The visit is to the garden of the early 1700’s house. The visit tells and shows you about the history of the garden and house which is told through the occupants who have created and changed it and something of their lives.

The Church at the heart of historic Pulborough is always worth a visit, more when the Rector is there to show you! Any 800 year-old church has problems and benefits, come, explore the building, how we care for it, and our bats (in the belfry?)

The visit is to an amazing eco-friendly, 21st century house and garden built on a difficult site. The self-built house was the subject of a “Grand Designs” television programme and architectural awards.

A half-day workshop led by local artist and illustrator Karolyn Mnich, launching a project to create a new Village Map of Old Shoreham parish area, a rich historic cultural landscape shaped entirely by human activity over 3000 years.
